My friend Natalie gave me this recipe. I love it because it is so easy yet very tasty.
1 package brownie mix, prepared according to package instructions and cooled (9x13-inch pan size)
1 8-oz. tub Cool Whip
2 or 3 Skor candy bars, crushed
2 or 3 Butterfinger candy bars, crushed
Hershey's chocolate syrup
Frost cooled brownies with Cool Whip. Sprinkle crushed candy bars on top of Cool Whip. Drizzle with chocolate syrup. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Note: Natalie told me this recipe was originally a trifle. If you are fancier than me, you can cut the brownies into small pieces. Layer half the brownies in a trifle bowl, followed by half of the Cool Whip, and half of the crushed candy bars. Repeat layers. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
